About Ramsac
Why your job is important to us
Our business lives or dies by the quality of the relationships we build with our customers. When we win a client, we want to keep them for the long-term, and that means looking after them better than our competition could.
We are “the secure choice” for all our customers. Dealing with people daily, you’re the person that really helps our clients to enjoy the ‘stress-free’ feeling about IT that we promise. Your job is to be proactive, professional, and friendly with all interactions with clients–supporting them onsite, fixing issues (and preventing them from happening again), making them feel calm and confident in your ability, and making sure that the client always feels well communicated with. The feeling you leave the client with after your interaction will often form that client’s whole opinion of our company. To our clients, you are ramsac!
Technical Variety
This role will involve providing onsite desk-side support to our clients across London and the Southeast as well as some remote work from our office.
On a day-to-day basis you will:
- Visit clients for planned or ad-hoc visits, floor-walking, interacting proactively with end users and supporting them with any IT & AI queries
- Deal with a wide variety of users and businesses, from small to large, corporate to charity, IT savvy to the technically challenged!
- Manage your own case load, escalate calls to senior colleagues and liaise with third parties to find a speedy resolution to client’s issues
- Research issues for which you don’t have an immediate answer
- Work alongside the wider ramsac team, to manage client issues that might need input from other stakeholders
- Maintain and develop your technical skill set to ensure that our solutions remain at the cutting edge
- Perform ad-hoc remote machine setups
- Support senior colleagues with project delivery
- Maintain good communication with clients by providing them a run-down of what you have completed for them during your visits

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
