Field Support Merchandiser – Dundee
Salary: £27,840 + Company Van (personal use allowed)
- Fully expensed vehicle with accountable fuel
- Tax-free expense allowance: £520 p.a.
- Contract type: Permanent
Schwartz is recruiting for a Field Support Merchandiser to service the Dundee, Perth, St. Andrews and Dunfermline areas.
Hours & Span
- Full-time (40 hours/week), Monday–Saturday (Wednesdays off)
- No Sunday shifts scheduled (only required at Christmas)
- Travel days: Monday to Friday (some nights away from home required)
Main Responsibilities
- Build and maintain retailer relationships with key supermarkets (Tesco, ASDA, Morrisons)
- Use digital tools to track availability and document stock execution
- Collect and deliver stock daily, ensuring 100% product visibility and regulatory compliance
- Maintain accurate inventory records and store compliance
- Provide support for McCormick brand associates as required

Candidate Profile
Essential Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence
- Right to work legally in the UK
- UK bank account for payments
- Fluent in English
- Ability to work unsupervised and prioritise deadlines
- Willingness to spend overnight away from home (catered and accommodation reimbursed)
- Task-oriented interpersonal skills – meeting retailer goals and expectations

- Customer-first mindset, centred on creating excellent in-store experiences
- Tech literate with ease in adopting and operating field merchandising tools
- Enjoy physical workloads (e.g., lifting, logistics)
- Team player with a portfolio of collaborative problem-solving skills

- Background in:
- Merchandising (full-price or promotional)
- Retail roles (e.g.,ventory control, shelf placement)
- Hospitality (service-facing positions)

- Base salary: £27,840 p.a.
