Job Description

Field Care Supervisor – Sheffield

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Field Care Supervisor to join our team in Sheffield. As a Field Care Supervisor, you will play an important role in supporting our Care Professionals and ensuring that our clients receive safe, compassionate, and high-quality care in the comfort of their own homes.

What We Offer

  • 37.5 guaranteed hours per week
  • £26,648 potential annual earnings, pro rata
  • Potential bonus available
  • Typical working hours of 08:30–17:00
  • One weekend in four

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support Care Professionals, ensuring they deliver consistently high standards of care to our clients.
  • Carry out regular home visits and care quality checks to monitor service delivery, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop, review, and update personalized care plans, ensuring they reflect individual client needs and comply with relevant care standards.
  • Build effective relationships with clients, families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure care is well coordinated.
  • Assist with staff rotas and scheduling, ensuring appropriate cover and continuity of care.
  • Provide on-call support when required and respond promptly and appropriately to urgent situations.
  • Conduct staff supervisions, spot checks, and appraisals, identifying training needs and supporting ongoing professional development.
  • Promote and maintain high standards of safeguarding, health, and safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure care records, documentation, and reports are accurate, up to date, and completed within required timescales.
  • Support the team in delivering a positive client experience, promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
  • Identify and report any concerns regarding care delivery and take appropriate action where necessary.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of care services, policies, and working practices.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider management and care team to ensure excellent standards are maintained.
