Field Team Leader - Sampling & Brand Experience
Lead from the front. Shape standout brand experiences.
If you're an experienced people manager who enjoys being hands-on, this is a chance to step into a visible leadership role within a high-performing sampling and brand activation team.
Package: £10,592 to £11,600 OTE/annum (full time equivalent £26,480 - £29,000 OTE) + travel expenses paid
Working: 14hrs/week, flexible schedule - 2 days to be worked over Fri, Sat, Sun (Part time, Perm)
Territory: Birmingham, Nottingham, Leicester, Coventry covering 18 stores
Working for Smollan as Team Leader to support the Regional Field Manager on our Sampling team, ensuring consistent delivery throughout, and inspiring & creating a culture of coaching and people development within the region.
Your Mission: Lead with Passion
Supporting the Regional Field Manager, you will be the "boots on the ground" leader for our Sampling Team across the region.
- Inspire & Develop: Welcome new starters and provide hands-on coaching to help existing staff reach their full potential.
- Cultivate Relationships: Build "first-name" rapport with Store Managers to ensure our sampling activations run flawlessly.
- Quality Control: Use your sharp eye for detail to guarantee every brand experience meets our elite standards.
- Drive Performance: Instil a "can-do" culture, ensuring every activity delivers a massive return for our customers.

- Mentorship Skills: Experience in training, developing, and getting the best out of a team.
- Field Experience: A hands-on approach to retail or customer-service environments.

- Reliability: The ability to manage a flexible 21-hour week, primarily across the busy weekend period.
Ideal (but not essential):
- Experience in sampling, brand activation or promotional roles
- Background in FMCG, retail or experiential marketing
