Field Team Resourcing Manager - Workforce Mobilisation & Engagement

Location: National
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Field Team Resourcing Manager to lead the mobilisation, engagement, onboarding and compliance of field teams across our Infrastructure division.

This is not a traditional internal recruitment role. Instead, you'll focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with field-based operatives, subcontractors, labour providers and delivery partners, ensuring we have skilled, compliant and project-ready teams available to support Infrastructure projects across the UK and Ireland.

You'll manage our Resourcing Coordinator and work closely with operational teams, suppliers and contractor partners to ensure workforce requirements are met safely, efficiently and at pace.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys relationship management, workforce planning, contractor engagement and continuous process improvement within a fast-paced operational environment.

What you'll do

  • Lead national attraction, engagement and mobilisation activities for field teams supporting Infrastructure projects across the UK and Ireland.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with operatives, subcontractors, labour providers and agency partners to build sustainable workforce pipelines.
  • Ensure field teams are fully onboarded, compliant and ready to deploy to projects.
  • Oversee right-to-work, medical, training and compliance requirements.
  • Line manage and develop the Resourcing Coordinator.
  • Manage relationships and performance with labour suppliers, subcontractors and contractor partners.
  • Own and maintain Skillko data, access and user support, ensuring workforce records remain accurate and up to date.
  • Monitor workforce availability, compliance and training activity through regular reporting.
  • Work closely with operational leaders to understand project demands and proactively plan workforce requirements.
  • Review and improve mobilisation, onboarding and engagement processes to enhance efficiency and workforce experience.
  • Use supplier and workforce performance data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
