The Field Technician will provide field and office support to senior engineers. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in blasting, vibration monitoring, and report preparation.
Job Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, prepare, and install vibration monitoring equipment and related accessories at project sites.
- Supervise construction and blasting activities, ensuring compliance with monitoring plans and specifications.
- Prepare monitoring reports, progress reports, and field log reports with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Communicate with property owners to obtain permission for installing monitoring equipment.
- Consult with on-site supervisors to understand the type, location, and progress of work, ensuring appropriate adjustments to monitoring equipment as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of equipment, including electronics, to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in a relevant field (e.g., construction technology, civil engineering).
- 0-2 years of experience in the construction/engineering industry.
- Physically capable of performing fieldwork in various conditions.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel to project sites.
- Experience with electronics and equipment is a strong asset.
