Nightshift Support Worker – Glenrothes
£Competitive | 12-Hour Night Shifts | Permanent | Full Training Provided
We are currently looking for compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Nightshift Support Workers to join our team supporting a young man in the Glenrothes area.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life by providing person-centred support within his own home.
Shift Pattern
- 12-hour night shifts
- 2-week rolling rota
- Permanent contracted hours available
- Opportunity for additional shifts
The Role
You will provide high-quality care and support, enabling the individual to remain safe, comfortable, and independent throughout the night. Duties include:

- Supporting with ventilator care (full specialist training provided before working independently)
- Providing personal care with dignity and respect
- Administering and supporting with medication
- Moving and handling using appropriate equipment
- Monitoring health and wellbeing throughout the night
- Encouraging social interaction and meaningful engagement where appropriate
- Promoting independence and supporting activities tailored to the individual's interests
- Maintaining accurate care records and reporting any concerns
What We're Looking For

- A commitment to delivering outstanding person-centred care
- Previous care experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided
