Financials Credit Investment Associate
We are working on a retained search for a leading multi-billion AuM credit fund building out their financial institution’s investment strategy. The manager is looking for a Financials Credit Investment Associate to join their top performing investment team.
Exceptional opportunity for a FIG specialist from a leading investment banking group or sales and trading desk - FIG DCM, Ratings, Trading, Origination, Credit Research, or any other similar underwriting or analytical role. The ideal candidate will be ready to make the move into an investment role, applying their financials sector knowledge and skillset on the buy-side.

Ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in a FIG debt or credit team at a tier one investment bank, covering banks and/or insurers. Alternatively, a background in FIG credit research
- Strong foundation in financial modelling and analysis
- Comfortable navigating bank and insurance capital structures - Tier 1, Tier 2, subordinated and hybrid instruments
- 2-5 years' relevant experience
- Entrepreneurial, curious, collaborative, quick learner, and commercially minded

About the role:
- Hands-on credit analysis, modelling, and sector coverage, working closely with senior PMs on investment decisions
- Supporting trade construction, execution, and ongoing portfolio monitoring
- A growing FIG investment book within an established, well-resourced credit platform
