M&A Advisory | Financial Services | London
A growing, independent financial advisory team is expanding its FIG Financial Services M&A Advisory practice in London and is looking for an Assistant Manager to join the team.
The role offers broad exposure across live transactions, working alongside senior team members and directly with clients throughout the deal process.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting buy-side and sell-side M&A mandates
- Building financial models and valuations
- Analysing complex datasets, including loan tapes
- Conducting sector and market research
- Preparing client presentations and transaction materials
- Supporting due diligence, deal structuring, and execution
- Managing multiple workstreams across live transactions
- Maintaining and developing market and buyer intelligence

The team works across a broad range of Financial Services businesses, including banks, lenders, private equity and diversified funds, fintechs, specialty finance, servicers, and brokers, with an active pipeline across the UK and selected European markets.
We’re looking for someone with relevant transaction experience gained in M&A advisory, investment banking, corporate development, consulting, or a similar environment. Financial Services experience is advantageous, particularly across banking, lending, specialty finance, fintech, or insurance.

Strong financial modelling, valuation, accounting, and analytical skills are important, alongside commercial awareness, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
