Join Our Mushroom Growing Team

We're looking for a proactive and motivated Filling Team Leader to join our mushroom-growing operation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong team leadership skills, a keen eye for quality, and a passion for delivering high standards in a fast-paced agricultural environment.

As Filling Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a small team and operating filling machinery to ensure growing rooms are filled accurately, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. You'll play a vital role in maintaining productivity, hygiene standards and operational excellence across the business.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading and motivating a small team to deliver production targets and deadlines.
  • Operating filling machinery to fill growing tunnels with compost and casing soil to required specifications.
  • Ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, food safety and workmanship are maintained at all times.
  • Following and promoting safe working procedures, working plans and standard operating processes.
  • Carrying out hygiene tasks including floor washing, filter changes and general cleaning duties as required.
  • Maintaining clean working areas to prevent contamination and the spread of disease.
  • Monitoring equipment performance and reporting maintenance issues promptly.
  • Ensuring filling quality standards are consistently achieved and work areas are left to a high standard.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
