You're comfortable across short-form and documentary-style storytelling, and equally at home behind the camera and in the edit — able to take a project end to end, creatively and technically.

Focus Areas

Equipment & Kit

• Keep up to date with equipment alongside the rest of the team, including cameras (e.g. Sony FX6), lighting, audio equipment, and other relevant filmmaking kit.
• Pack and unpack kit ahead of and following shoots, ensuring everything is stored correctly and maintained to a high standard.
• Build and maintain a strong working knowledge of our camera, lighting and audio equipment.

On Set

• Represent Studio Soeur on set, upholding our standards and reputation with clients and crew.
• Operate camera and audio equipment on shoots, working confidently as part of a wider crew.
• Collaborate effectively with other crew members, including gaffers, sound recordists and directors.
• Maintain high production standards while remaining adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

Post Production

• Edit narrative-driven content across a range of formats, primarily for digital and social platforms.
• Draft and shape narrative structure, working through story, pacing and music selection.
• Colour grade using DaVinci Resolve (we currently edit in Premiere Pro and are transitioning to DaVinci).
• Implement feedback while maintaining creative integrity and quality.
• Ensure all final deliverables meet studio quality standards with a strong attention to detail.

Workflow & Delivery

• Help manage media and project workflows from shoot through to client-ready delivery.
• Work efficiently under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Support the team in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Collaborate closely with the team to interpret briefs and deliver content that meets client needs.

Working at Studio Soeur

This is a full-time position, based at our offices in Ladbroke Grove, London.

As a creative production company, we are required to be on set regularly in order to create work for our clients. This role will involve ad-hoc travel within London, across the UK and occasionally abroad. Where travel is involved, hours may vary and can be disruptive to personal schedules, meaning a willingness for a varied routine is necessary.

A full UK driving licence is required in order to drive the company vehicle to and from shoots.
