The Filtration Sales Specialist

The Filtration Sales Specialist is responsible to drive sales growth and achieve business targets by building strong customer relationships, leveraging technical filtration expertise, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver effective solutions and support for both new and existing customers.

This position reports to the Northern European Filtration Manager and is part of the Northern European Filtration Team working remotely to cover the North of England region.

What You Will Do

  • Drive sales growth and achieve territory sales targets by developing and managing a strong pipeline of filtration opportunities.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers and key decision-makers to support business growth and customer retention.
  • Identify, develop, and secure strategic filtration specification wins (SpecWins) to drive future revenue and market share.
  • Provide expert technical support throughout the sales cycle, including solution discussions, product demonstrations, training, troubleshooting, and post-sales support.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Account Managers, Marketing, Product Management, Scientific Support, and Customer Service, to deliver customer-focused solutions and maximise business opportunities.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, life sciences or relevant field.
  • 3 years commercial experience, preferably in the Biotechnology industry.
  • Proven ability to drive cross-selling, upselling, value positioning, and effective funnel management
  • Understanding of customers’ key business drivers.
  • Insight with networks and contacts.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements

  • Travel within territory on weekly basis (50-60%) and within EMEA when required.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • GMP manufacturing environment
