Role Description

This is a contract Final Cut Pro Video Editor role based in Greater London with a hybrid working arrangement, combining on-site collaboration with some work-from-home flexibility. The editor will handle end-to-end post-production in Final Cut Pro, including assembling raw footage, syncing audio, refining edits, and preparing final deliverables for multiple formats.

  • Ensuring visual consistency across projects

The role involves closely collaborating with directors, producers, and other creatives to interpret briefs, incorporate feedback, and meet deadlines. The editor will also maintain organized project files, manage media assets, and optimize exports for various platforms and delivery specifications.

Qualifications

  • Strong Final Cut Pro skills with proven experience in Video Editing and assembling narrative or commercial content.
  • Practical experience in Video Production workflows, including working with different codecs, frame rates, and media management.
  • Ability to perform Video Color Grading, balancing and stylizing footage to meet creative direction and brand requirements.
  • Demonstrated portfolio of commercial, branded, or short-form content relevant to creative production and advertising.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to work to tight deadlines, and readiness to respond constructively to feedback.
  • Comfort working in a hybrid setup in Greater London, with effective communication and collaboration skills across in-person and remote environments.
  • Understanding of social media and digital platform requirements (aspect ratios, durations, codecs) is a plus.
