Position Summary

The Role:

As a Final Release Inspector, you will act as the final quality and regulatory signatory before products are released to customers. Working in a highly regulated aerospace manufacturing environment, you will review manufacturing, inspection and test documentation to ensure products meet all customer, quality and regulatory requirements prior to release. Once satisfied, you will issue Certificates of Conformance and release certification, confirming products have been manufactured correctly and are fit for customer use.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Review manufacturing, inspection and test records to verify product conformity and traceability
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements, engineering drawings, specifications and regulatory standards
  • Prepare, review and issue Certificates of Conformance and release documentation as an authorised signatory
  • Work with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain teams to resolve product and documentation issues
  • Support periodic audits and liaise with overseas teams regarding quality documentation

Qualifications

Skills required:

  • Mechanical and/or electrical manufacturing experience
  • Experience using precision measuring equipment, including verniers
  • Strong attention to detail with an accurate and methodical approach
  • Good computer skills and ability to learn new systems
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn and confidence to challenge where required
