We are looking for an Inspector to expand our Final Inspection team at Woodward, Prestwick. This position reports to the Logistics Supervisor and is responsible for performing standard inspections of fuel control systems following established procedures to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Routine Inspections: Performs standard inspections following established procedures to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Record and Report Data: Accurately documents inspection results and communicates findings to team members using designated reporting systems.
- Operate Inspection Equipment: Utilizes basic technical tools and equipment to carry out inspections and gather necessary data.
- Maintain Compliance Standards: Adheres to defined operating procedures and quality guidelines to ensure consistent and reliable inspection processes.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Shares technical information and collaborates with colleagues to support team objectives and integrate inspection activities with other departmental functions.

- Task Management: Manages routine tasks efficiently to ensure timely completion and impact quality of work

This role requires a UK technical trade apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in an aviation background or 2 years of aeronautical experience.

We offer a competitive salary determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
- Estimated annual base pay: Salary range between £33,000-£38,000
- Woodward Operations Incentive bonus scheme – target of 7.5% paid quarterly, discretionary.
- Vacation: We offer new members 29 days holiday plus 4 public holidays.
- Personal Pension Scheme: All members will be automatically enrolled after month 1 with employer contribution of 9%.
- Income Protection and Life Assurance: All members after month 1 are enrolled on these schemes, income protection at 60% of salary in cases of long-term absence and 4 times your basic salary for life assurance.
- Salary Sacrifice: Offers on the latest technology and bike to work scheme.
