About Quix Labs
Quix Labs is an early-stage healthcare company building a pharmacy-led platform for nicotine reduction, currently scaling across the UK. As we grow, we’re building out our finance function and looking for an ambitious, self-directed Finance & Accounting Assistant who can take ownership of their work and grow with the company, working directly with the CFO.
The Role
This is a hands-on, paid part-time role supporting the CFO across the company’s core finance operations. You’ll get exposure to how a full finance stack fits together at an early-stage company — bookkeeping, systems, close, and reporting — rather than one narrow slice of it. A significant focus will be our migration to Odoo ERP, making this an excellent fit for someone who wants genuine ERP implementation experience.

What You’ll Do
- Support the implementation and rollout of Odoo ERP: chart of accounts setup, data migration, transaction entry, and validating imported records against source data
- Handle day-to-day bookkeeping — accounts payable/receivable, expense categorization, and bank and credit card reconciliations
- Assist with month-end close and the preparation of internal management reports
- Help build and maintain financial models and supporting schedules
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis (pricing, COGS, freight, unit economics)
- Help improve and document finance processes and record-keeping as we scale

What We’re Looking For
- A degree or ongoing coursework in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Strong Excel skills and comfort working with numbers and large data sets
- High attention to detail — thorough, careful, and reliable in your work
- Ability to work autonomously and take initiative without close supervision
- Discretion and good judgment handling confidential financial information
- Bonus: exposure to any ERP or accounting system (Odoo, QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite)
