Thrivin is a fast-growing global activewear brand on a mission to build the world's leading performance apparel company. As we continue to scale internationally, we're looking for a highly capable Finance & Accounting Manager to strengthen our finance function, improve operational efficiency, and build robust financial processes that support our next phase of growth.
About the Role
As Finance & Accounting Manager, you will oversee the company's accounting function across multiple legal entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, healthy cash flow, and compliance with statutory requirements.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving financial excellence across the business. You'll work closely with Operations, Marketing and cross-functional teams to build scalable accounting processes, improve financial visibility, and support strategic decision-making.
The ideal candidate is commercially minded, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced ecommerce environment where continuous improvement is key.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Accounting Operations
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations across multiple legal entities, including general ledger, reconciliations, journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.
- Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.
- Maintain accurate accounting records in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Ensure consistency and integrity of financial data across the business.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management
- Manage daily cash flow, liquidity, and working capital across the business.
- Oversee cash forecasting and provide regular reporting to leadership.
- Manage banking relationships and oversee the company's credit facilities, ensuring effective utilisation of available credit lines.
- Identify opportunities to optimise cash management and financial efficiency.
Accounts Payable & Process Improvement
- Oversee accounts payable, invoice processing, payment approvals, and vendor management.
- Identify opportunities to automate accounting processes and reduce manual workloads.
- Improve financial workflows to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
- Champion continuous improvement across finance operations.
Compliance & Internal Controls
- Ensure compliance with statutory reporting, tax filings, and regulatory requirements across all operating entities.
- Strengthen internal controls, governance, and financial policies.
- Coordinate annual audits and manage relationships with external auditors.
- Maintain audit-ready financial records and supporting documentation.
Financial Leadership & Business Partnering
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and standard operating processes.
- Partner with Operations, Commercial, and Leadership teams to improve financial visibility and support business decisions.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining strong financial controls.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic planning and business growth.

Requirements
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (CPA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification preferred).
- 5+ years' progressive accounting and finance experience, including leadership or management responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, general ledger management, reconciliations, and month-end close.
- Experience managing cash flow, treasury activities, and working capital.
- Experience overseeing accounts payable, invoice processing, and financial controls.
- Strong understanding of statutory compliance and accounting standards.
- Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven experience working within a fast-paced, high-growth business.
- Experience within ecommerce, retail, consumer goods, or DTC brands.
- Experience managing finance across multiple legal entities and international operations.
- Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP Business One, Oracle, or similar.
- Proven experience implementing finance process improvements and automation.
- Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A activities.
