Finance & Accounts Manager
We’re looking for a Finance & Accounts Manager to join The Balloon Tree Farm Shop & Café.
After many years with the business, our current bookkeeper is preparing to retire. We’re therefore looking for an experienced finance professional to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function and become an important part of the next chapter of our family-run business.
This is a varied role covering purchase ledger, supplier payments, bank and cash reconciliations, VAT, month-end and management reporting, working closely with our Directors, department managers and external accountants.

There will also be an opportunity to help us modernise and develop our finance processes, including digital document management, improved reporting and potentially moving from Sage to cloud-based accounting software.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Proven SME bookkeeping or finance experience
- Strong VAT, reconciliation and month-end knowledge
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong Excel skills
- The confidence to work independently and take ownership
- A practical, commercially minded approach

Part-time | 16–30 hours per week | 2–4 days per week
