Finance / Accounts Manager (Construction and CIS)

We are a growing construction business seeking an organised and proactive Accounts Manager to oversee day to day financial operations and general administration. The role suits someone confident managing CIS, supplier payments, invoicing, and supporting directors with smooth office administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage purchase ledger, sales ledger, bank reconciliations, and monthly financial reporting.
  • Oversee CIS compliance, including verifying subcontractors, processing CIS deductions, and preparing monthly returns.
  • Handle invoicing, credit control, payment runs, and cashflow tracking.
  • Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients on financial queries.
  • Manage and process weekly payroll.
  • Provide general office administration, document control, and support to directors.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in construction industry accounting (CIS essential).
  • Strong knowledge of UK bookkeeping and financial controls.
  • Confident using accounting software (Xero / Sage / Evolution).
  • Highly organised, accurate, and able to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Professional communication skills and a proactive approach.
