Rialtas, part of the global Harris Computer family, is looking for a Finance Software Trainer / Consultant for its market-leading accounting software business.

This is an important role within the business, and it provides an exciting opportunity to work alongside a dedicated and inclusive team.

We’re looking for someone with great energy, clear communication, and a passion for guiding others. No need to be a finance expert - we’ll teach you the rest.

Location

  • Offices in Uffcott, Wroughton near Swindon, easily accessible from Junctions 15 and 16 on the M4.
  • This is a part-time (22.5 hours per week) and hybrid role (two days per week in the office).
  • The candidate will be required to travel to client sites and conferences across the UK from time to time.

What you will do

Your key responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):

Financial Software Implementation & Training

  • Set up our financial software for new clients, including creating a chart of accounts, migrating data from existing systems, and delivering hands-on training either online or on-site.
  • Support clients with Year-End accounts preparation and general data entry tasks as required, including occasional on-site visits.
  • Provide refresher training and ongoing consultancy support to ensure clients continue to maximise the value of our financial software solutions.

Administration Software Implementation & Training

  • Set up our administration software for new clients, covering bookings management, cemeteries and memorials, allotments, and asset inventory, including data migration and hands-on training.
  • Deliver clear, structured, and engaging training sessions on both financial and administrative software, ensuring users feel confident in their day-to-day tasks.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of how our finance and administration systems interact, and communicate this clearly and effectively to clients.

Ongoing Client Support

  • Provide approachable, professional guidance to clients on best practice within the scope of our software solutions.
  • Provide first-line software support when office-based, responding to client queries and assisting with troubleshooting in a timely and professional manner.
  • Represent Rialtas at industry conferences and events, promoting our software and services in a positive and professional manner.
  • Maintain and update training materials, workbooks, and user guides in line with each new software release, using AI drafting tools to accelerate content updates, with final review and sign-off by the consultant.
  • Undertake any other related duties as required to support the team and our clients.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
