Role Description
The Finance Admin Assistant role is a part-time, on-site position based in West Wellow. The role involves supporting day-to-day finance and administrative operations, including processing invoices, maintaining financial records, and assisting with account reconciliation. The Finance Admin Assistant will process invoices and monies received and support basic bookkeeping tasks as required. Administrative responsibilities include managing documentation and authorisation processes, liaising with utility providers on completed sites, handling email and telephone queries, and coordinating with internal teams and suppliers. The position requires consistent attention to detail, the ability to work to deadlines, and a proactive approach to improving administrative and financial processes.

Qualifications

- Strong administrative and organizational skills, including experience with filing systems, document management, and handling email and phone communication.
- Basic finance and bookkeeping skills, such as invoice processing, account reconciliation and data entry.
- Proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word, and email applications) and the ability to learn new finance or project systems as needed.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in working with numbers, records, and reports, with a focus on maintaining confidentiality and data integrity.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, suppliers, and clients in a professional manner.
- Prior experience in an administrative or finance support role, ideally within construction or a related industry, is beneficial.
- Relevant education or training is an advantage but not strictly required for strong practical candidates.
