Finance / admin assistant.
The Opportunity
A precision manufacturer that continues to grow and invest is looking for an accounts and admin assistant to support and work alongside the accounts manager.
The role will include some admin duties such as
- Answering the phone, including taking messages and details from customers and directing calls to the correct department.
- Greeting customers and suppliers
- Scanning, filing, and attaching files to our database
- Process invoices, reconciling delivery notes to invoices received and purchase orders
- Verify the accuracy of invoices and resolve any discrepancies
- Reconcile supplier statements with purchase ledger records
- Maintain and file accurate records of admin and financial transactions
- Assist with month-end closing procedures
- Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.
- Posting purchase invoices on Sage
- Dealing with queries
- Daily bank allocations
- Credit control and debtors report

Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in administrative / basic accounts admin
- Proficient in computerized data entry
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Familiarity with office equipment and procedures
- Ability to type accurately and efficiently
- Proficiency using Google, Excel, Word, and Microsoft Outlook.
