Finance & Administration Coordinator | £28,000 | Hybrid £28,000 | Monday–Friday, Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days home) | Temporary initially, with a genuine opportunity to become permanent

Are you looking for your first opportunity to build a career in finance, administration, and business operations? This could be a great next step if you’re naturally organized, confident dealing with people, and enjoy working with numbers and information.

We’re looking for a Finance & Administration Coordinator to join a busy and growing organization. This is a varied role where you’ll gain experience across finance, customer communication, administration, and business support.

It’s initially a temporary position, but there is a strong opportunity for the role to become permanent.

What will you be doing?

You’ll become an important part of the team, helping to keep financial and administrative processes running smoothly. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Managing customer and internal email enquiries relating to accounts and finance
  • Responding to queries and providing clear, professional information
  • Chasing outstanding information, documentation, and payments
  • Updating financial records and maintaining accurate data
  • Supporting the finance team with day-to-day administration
  • Liaising with customers, colleagues, and external contacts
  • Monitoring outstanding actions and making sure deadlines are met
  • Helping with wider administrative and operational tasks across the business

What are we looking for?

You don't need years of finance experience. We're much more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, communication skills, and attention to detail.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Some previous experience in customer service, administration, or a busy office environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good attention to detail and confidence working with numbers
  • A proactive, organized approach to your work
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • The ability to manage your own workload and stay on top of deadlines
  • A willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
