Role Description
This part-time, on-site Finance Administrator role is based in Lutterworth and supports the day-to-day financial operations of Rugby Distribution. Responsibilities include:

The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, updating systems with current data, and preparing basic financial reports and summaries for internal stakeholders. The Finance Administrator will communicate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to resolve queries and ensure timely payments and receipts. The role also includes supporting budgeting activities, helping track expenses against forecasts, and collaborating with the wider operations team to ensure financial procedures are followed.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Finance and Accounting, with the ability to handle everyday transactional work accurately.
- Experience or knowledge in Financial Planning, including supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Well-developed Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify discrepancies, and support decision-making.
- Clear and professional Communication skills for working with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and accounting or ERP software; confidence using digital tools and systems.
- Relevant qualification in finance, accounting, or business (e.g., AAT level or equivalent) is beneficial.
- Prior experience in a finance or administration role within a distribution, logistics, or similar environment is an advantage.
