We’re looking for a friendly, organised and proactive Finance Administrator

To support our finance function and wider business. You’ll play a key role in ensuring that financial and administrative processes are completed accurately, efficiently and on time.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, keeping accurate records and ensuring everything is organised. You will work closely with colleagues across the business and will be involved in supporting a range of financial processes, including invoices, payments, reconciliations, record keeping and general finance administration.

We’re seeking someone who is motivated, reliable and confident working independently as well as part of a team. You’ll enjoy working in a busy environment, be comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines, and take pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.

Location: Head Office – Somercotes

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: £28,080

Hours: 40 hours per week; Monday to Friday; 9am – 5pm

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a finance, accounts or administrative role is desirable, but not essential.
  • Strong numerical skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience using accounting software is desirable, but not essential.
  • Ability to work accurately and handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
  • A proactive and reliable approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Providing day-to-day administrative support to the finance function.
  • Processing and maintaining accurate financial records, invoices and other documentation.
  • Supporting the processing of invoices and payments.
  • Assisting with sales invoicing and monitoring outstanding payments.
  • Supporting with reconciliations and ensuring financial information is recorded accurately.
  • Maintaining organised and up-to-date finance files, records and systems.
  • Responding to finance-related queries from colleagues, suppliers and other stakeholders.
  • Assisting with the preparation of information and reports as required.
