Your new company
You will be joining a well-established organisation in Elgin that is currently seeking additional support within its finance team during a busy period. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Finance Administrator or Accounts Payable professional looking to secure a temporary contract with an organisation in the heart of Moray. This role offers an immediate start and will be for approximately 3 months.
Your new role
As Finance Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day accounts payable function, ensuring supplier invoices are processed accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for:
- Maintaining financial records
- Supporting payment runs
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Responding to invoice and payment queries from both internal and external stakeholders
Working as part of a busy finance team, you will help ensure financial processes are completed within agreed timescales while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with colleagues across the business and gain valuable experience within a fast-paced finance environment. This role is based in the office in Elgin and hours are 9am-5pm, but some flexibility can be agreed where required.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience working in an accounts payable, finance administration, or purchase ledger position. You will be confident processing high volumes of invoices and possess strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail. You will be comfortable using finance systems and Microsoft Excel and will have strong communication skills, enabling you to build positive working relationships with suppliers and colleagues alike. This role is fast-paced and requires a high level of attention to detail.
