Finance Administrator
Vallectric Limited, a long established, successful building services contractor now employee owned, are looking to recruit an experienced full-time Finance Administrator. Based in the Leeds office, the successful applicant will work as part of a small, friendly team where enthusiasm, versatility and initiative are actively encouraged.
The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate excellent Sage, Payroll and Excel skills and enjoy working under their own initiative to tight deadlines.
Key Duties
- Bookkeeping (using Excel)
- Processing payment requisitions for expense claims and other ad-hoc payments, including BACS payment and accounting for transactions in cashbook.
- Other cash book entries, including nominal coding.
- Cash book analysis and journal postings.
- Bank reconciliation and credit card reconciliation.
- Cash forecasting.
- Preparation and posting of journals.
- Nominal account reconciliations.

- Payroll (Sage Payroll System)
- Processing timesheets for weekly wages, expenses claims, holiday payments and mileage reimbursement claims.
- Processing monthly salaries.
- Submission of Real Time Information to HMRC.
- Payment of taxes (PAYE), pension contributions, and other deductions when due.
- Personnel file maintenance.
- Year-end payroll procedures (P11D, P60) and reconciliations.
