Vallectric Limited, a long-established and successful building services contractor, is proud to be an employee-owned business. We are seeking an experienced Finance Administrator to join our friendly team based at our Leeds office.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who enjoys working in a varied role, managing their own workload, and meeting deadlines. You will become part of a small, supportive team where enthusiasm, versatility, and initiative are highly valued.
About You
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Excellent Sage experience
- Strong payroll administration skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- The ability to work independently and prioritise workloads effectively
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and meeting deadlines

Key Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping (Using Excel)
- Processing payment requisitions for expense claims and other ad hoc payments
- Processing BACS payments and accounting for transactions within the cashbook
- Recording cashbook entries, including nominal coding
- Cashbook analysis and journal postings
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Cash flow forecasting
- Preparation and posting of journals
- Nominal account reconciliations
- Payroll (Sage Payroll System)
- Processing weekly timesheets, wages, expenses, holiday pay, and mileage claims
- Processing monthly salaries
- Submitting Real Time Information (RTI) to HMRC
- Processing payments for PAYE, pension contributions, and other deductions
- Maintaining personnel records and payroll files
- Completing year-end payroll procedures, including P11D and P60 processing and reconciliations
