Role: Finance Administrator
Contract: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £30,737.70 per annum, with a discretionary annual 5% bonus
Location: Swansea, Hybrid working: minimum two office-based days per week.
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, working hours between 9:00am and 5:30pm.

About the Role
We're looking for a proactive Finance Administrator. In this role, you'll manage your own portfolio of assessments from receipt through to completion, reviewing financial information, identifying risks, resolving issues and producing accurate recommendations within agreed service levels. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data and financial information, has strong investigative skills and takes pride in delivering high-quality outcomes. Full training will be provided, helping you develop valuable financial assessment skills and experience to further your career within ArvatoConnect.
What you’ll do
- Manage financial viability assessments from receipt through to completion, ensuring work is completed accurately and within agreed timescales.
- Review and assess company financial information to determine financial stability and potential risk.
- Identify missing, inconsistent or incomplete information and take appropriate action to resolve issues.
- Liaise with clients and external organisations to gather information, address queries and progress assessments to an outcome.
- Manage competing priorities while maintaining quality, productivity and customer delivery targets.
- Escalate risks, trends and delivery concerns in a timely manner.
- Support colleagues during periods of peak demand to help achieve wider team objectives.
- Build positive working relationships with colleagues, clients and key stakeholders.
- Contribute ideas for continuous improvement and service innovation.
- Demonstrate ownership and accountability for workload management, quality outcomes and customer service standards.

What you’ll bring to the table
- Previous finance-related experience.
- A good understanding of financial accounts, financial statements and financial ratios.
- Experience working within an accounting, finance, financial assessment or target-driven service environment.
- Strong analytical and investigative skills with the ability to assess and interpret financial information.
- Good Excel skills and confidence working with data and financial information.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate work.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage workload independently.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and issue resolution.
- Confidence communicating with clients, colleagues and external stakeholders.
- A positive, team-focused attitude with a willingness to support others when required.
Minimum Criteria
- Good understanding of financial accounts, financial statements and financial ratios.
- Hold an A Level or NVQ in Finance, Maths, Accounting or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to review information, identify risks and make informed decisions.
- Excellent attention to detail and a consistent approach to accuracy and quality.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently to deadlines.
