Job Description
Location: The Weymouth Care Home, 21-23 Glendinning Avenue
We are looking for a motivated, organised, and enthusiastic Finance Administrator to join our Head Office team.
About the Role
As a Finance Administrator, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth running of our day-to-day operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- General administration
- Data entry
- Maintaining accurate records
- Document management
- Supporting a range of business functions
The role also requires experience in accounts and payroll administration, ideally using Sage accounting and Payroll, including:
- Processing invoices
- Assisting with payroll
- Maintaining accurate financial records
You will work closely with the Finance and Payroll teams while using systems such as People Planner and Sage to support the efficient delivery of our services.
Working Hours: 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure client records are accurate and up to date from onboarding through to live service delivery
- Complete invoicing and billing processes correctly and issue them in a timely manner
- Check and prepare payroll data accurately to support monthly payroll runs
- Consistently maintain employee and client information across systems
- Monitor and keep operational data (such as planned vs actual activity) accurate for reporting
- Support credit control and Direct Debit processes through basic administration tasks
- Record and check utility and finance-related data to support management accounts
You will also support regular data quality checks, help identify and escalate discrepancies, and contribute to maintaining high standards of accuracy across all administrative processes.
This is a varied and fast-paced role where you will learn to prioritise tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and develop strong attention to detail, while being fully supported through your apprenticeship journey.
About You
- Punctual and professional in all aspects of your work.
- Demonstrate strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Willing to take direction and follow instructions.
- Understand the role and show enthusiasm to learn about the social care sector.
- Accounts and payroll administration, ideally using Sage accounting and Payroll.
- Able to maintain confidentiality and adhere to GDPR principles.

- Experience In Accounts and Payroll Administration, ideally using Sage accounting and Payroll
