About the Role
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Administrator to join our busy finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a fast-paced and supportive business environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting financial operations, ensuring transactions are processed accurately and efficiently, and helping maintain strong financial controls across the business.
Working closely with colleagues across multiple departments, you will be responsible for a range of finance administration activities, including payment processing, reconciliations, reporting, and account maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
Following training, you will be responsible for:
- Processing invoices, supplier payments, and customer refunds accurately and within agreed timescales.
- Assisting with the preparation of cash flow information and monitoring financial transactions.
- Processing regular payment runs and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies between financial records, accounts, and internal systems.
- Completing bank reconciliations and ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Preparing and distributing routine financial reports to internal stakeholders.
- Supporting the timely processing and allocation of cash receipts and payments.
- Maintaining and updating finance systems, records, and documentation.
- Assisting with the setup and administration of financial accounts and payment arrangements.
- Liaising with internal departments, suppliers, and external parties to resolve queries.
- Supporting finance-related projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Providing general administrative support to the finance team as required.

Essential Experience
- Demonstrable experience working within an office environment in an administration role.
- Experience working with data and maintaining accurate records.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Desirable Experience
- Experience using accounting or finance systems.
- Understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general finance processes.
- Exposure to reconciliations, payment processing, or financial reporting.

Working Hours
Monday to Friday
37.5 hours per week
