Finance Administrator in Edinburgh
A Finance Administrator in Edinburgh is needed to support the day-to-day financial operations within the retail industry. You'll help the business run smoothly by managing administrative tasks and ensuring financial accuracy.

This role is within the retail industry and is based in Edinburgh.
Description
- Proactive credit control of overdue accounts, candidates must have excellent telephone manner.
- Ensure all customers are trading to terms and within the limits of Dole credit insurance.
- Raising Credit Notes.
- Manage accounts on 'stop'.
- Responding to inbound customer queries by phone and email.
- Post daily Cash receipts.
- Setting up new accounts.
- Taking Card payments on site.
- Manage daily cash receipts/petty cash - cash handling.
- Liaise with HO Credit Control Dept for National Accounts.
- Assist in production of weekly & monthly sales ledger reports for key customers.

Profile
A successful Finance Administrator should have:
- Experience in an administrative or financial role, ideally within the retail industry.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
- A basic understanding of financial processes and terminology.

Job Offer
- Days - negotiable (Mon-Fri), min 4 days.
- Hours - 30 hours per week, negotiable, between 8am and 5pm.
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
- You must have a sound knowledge of credit control with at least 2 years' experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
