Finance Administrator - Cambridge
We are currently recruiting for a Finance Administrator to join a busy finance team in Cambridge on an initial three-month contract, with an immediate start available.
Role Overview
The role will be working in the accounts receivable team, working closely with their US customer base.
Typical Duties
- Contacting customers regarding outstanding invoices and payments
- Managing credit control and debt collection activity for US customers
- Processing cash applications and allocating payments accurately
- Maintaining accurate customer records and finance documentation
- Working closely with the wider finance team to resolve queries and support day-to-day activity

Requirements
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Previous experience in an administrative, customer service, or office-based role
- Strong communication skills and confidence when dealing with customers
- Good attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider team
- A willingness to learn and develop an understanding of finance processes
The role will initially be fully office-based in Cambridge, with the potential to work one day from home once fully trained. Previous finance experience isn't essential, but would be advantageous.
