Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

We're looking for someone with excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear and engaging way. You'll be confident building credible relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, balancing multiple priorities and delivering high-quality work to tight deadlines. Strong Excel skills are essential, alongside a genuine interest in financial analysis, business performance and continuous improvement. If you're currently studying towards, or interested in pursuing, an accounting qualification such as ACCA or CIMA, this role will provide excellent exposure and development opportunities.

In return, you'll join a collaborative and supportive team where your ideas and insights will be valued. Whether you're developing pricing models, analysing category performance, improving reporting processes or supporting strategic initiatives, you'll have the opportunity to broaden your commercial and financial expertise while influencing decisions on a global scale. Experience in financial modelling, working with both finance and non-finance stakeholders, and exposure to Power BI or data management would be advantageous, but most importantly, you'll bring a proactive mindset, strong relationship-building skills and a passion for helping the business achieve its ambitions.
