The Finance Analyst sits at the intersection of finance, data, and commercial operations. You will be reporting into and learning from the CFO - giving you brilliant exposure. Also working closely with an impressive Data Lead and collaborating across merchandising, e-commerce, operations and senior leadership.

Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce regular financial and commercial performance reports.
- Analyse sales, margins, profitability and operational KPIs across multiple sales channels.
- Support monthly management reporting with detailed variance analysis and commentary.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning.
- Identify risks and opportunities through detailed financial modelling.
- Develop and maintain dashboards.
- Identifying trends in the data - issues with rents etc.
- Analyse customer, product and sales data to identify trends and commercial opportunities.
- Work with large datasets to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.
- Analyse inventory performance, stock ageing and product profitability.
- Support purchasing and merchandising teams with stock planning and demand forecasting.
- Monitor pricing performance and promotional effectiveness.
- Identify slow-moving stock and recommend actions to optimise inventory investment.
- Collaborate with departments across the business to understand reporting requirements.
- Present clear financial and operational insights to non-finance stakeholders.
- Support commercial decision-making with robust data analysis.
- Improve data quality and reporting consistency across systems.
- Support the development of finance and reporting systems.
- Help implement automation and process improvements using modern reporting tools.

About You
- Either qualified or close to qualifying accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using AI software is essential.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, Power Query and complex formulas.
- Experience using Power BI, Tableau or similar visualisation software.
- Strong numerical ability with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex analysis in a simple and engaging way.
