Finance Analyst

As a Finance Analyst, you’ll support the development of short- and medium-term financial plans that guide operational and strategic decisions across the airport. Working closely with finance partners, operational teams, and senior leaders, you’ll help ensure Heathrow’s resources are allocated effectively to deliver exceptional passenger experiences and sustainable growth.

You’ll be part of a collaborative, fast-paced environment where analytical insight drives real-world outcomes. Success in this role means providing accurate, timely, and actionable financial analysis that supports Heathrow’s planning cycles, from forecasting passenger volumes to modelling investment scenarios. You’ll contribute to decisions that balance commercial performance, operational resilience, and long-term sustainability.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supporting the preparation and consolidation of Heathrow’s short-term and medium-term business plans, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and operational priorities.
  • Developing and maintaining financial models to forecast performance, assess risks, and evaluate investment opportunities across airport operations.
  • Collaborating with finance business partners and operational teams to provide insight into cost drivers, revenue trends, and efficiency opportunities.
  • Preparing clear, data-driven reports and presentations for senior management and governance forums.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of Heathrow’s planning processes, systems, and analytical tools to enhance decision-making quality.
  • Supporting scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to inform strategic and operational choices under different market conditions.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, or business planning.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret complex data into clear insights and recommendations.
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial systems, with the ability to manage large datasets effectively.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence in presenting analysis to non-financial audiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
