Job Description
- Analyse operational costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare and present financial reports to support decision-making.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Ensure financial data is accurate and well-documented.
- Collaborate with operational teams to provide financial insights.
- Support month-end and year-end financial reporting activities.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance department.

Profile
A Successful Finance Analyst Should Have
- Experience in financial analysis, preferably in the industrial or manufacturing sector.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- A relevant qualification or working towards one (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) or be qualified by experience.
- Able to commute to their offices in Burton-on-Trent.
- Ability to communicate financial insights clearly and effectively.
- Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and cost control principles.
