Financial Analyst

3-6 Month Contract | Immediate Start

Birmingham – Hybrid (3 days Office)

£40-50k (DOE)

We are looking for a Finance Analyst to support an exciting finance migration and process improvement / automation project, initially focusing on operations in Portugal and Brazil. This role will suit a CIMA / ACCA Finalist who is looking to gain experience in a fast-paced Global organisation where you'll have the opportunity to gain experience across finance transformation, systems migration, process improvement and automation, while making an immediate contribution to a business going through change.

The role

You'll be involved in:

  • Contractor payments and timesheet validation
  • Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
  • Customer invoicing and billing
  • Bank and account reconciliations
  • Supporting month-end
  • Investigating and resolving queries
  • Helping migrate finance processes into new systems
  • Documenting processes and improving ways of working
  • Identifying opportunities to automate and reduce manual work

You'll work report to the Group FC and work closely with finance and operational teams, helping to ensure processes are accurate, efficient and well controlled.

About you

We're looking for someone with solid transactional finance experience who is:

  • Recently Qualified / Finalist (CIMA / ACCA)
  • Confident working with finance systems
  • A good problem solver
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Available for an immediate start
  • Interested in process improvement and automation
