About the Role
We are seeking a disciplined, analytical Financial Close & Reporting Lead to join our global finance team within the Clinical Segment. Within this high-impact role, you will report to the Executive Finance Director, partnering closely with both local site leaders and global management teams. This is an opportunity for an experienced finance professional to make a genuine difference by shaping the future of the Clinical Segment through strategic financial analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement in planning and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities

Partner with Executive Leadership:
- Collaborate with the Executive Finance Director to provide analytical, reporting, and decision-support across the global Clinical Segment.

Financial Reporting & Dashboards:
- Design, develop, and maintain executive-level dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI, Smartsheets, Excel, and other BI tools.
- Ensure clear visibility into segment performance, key financial metrics, operational KPIs, and business trends.

Data-Driven Insights:
- Analyse complex financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers.
- Translate insights into actionable recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

Executive Reporting:
- Prepare high-quality board-level materials and executive reporting packs for Budget, Forecast, EC, and other leadership meetings.
- Ensure accuracy, conciseness, and impactful communication.

Strategic Decision-Making Support:
- Assess investment appraisals, capital expenditure reviews, and business case development.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to guide strategic decision-making.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Contribute to business improvement initiatives and corporate finance projects by identifying visibility and efficiency opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience Required

Essential:
- 3+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or related finance roles.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and MS Office tools.
- Strong technical and analytical skills to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with a focus on detail.
- Highly organised, adaptable, and able to manage deadlines under pressure.
- Self-motivated with high ownership of work product and a commitment to results.
- Willingness to travel on an occasional basis to support business needs.

Desirable:
- Experience with Oracle JDE, OneStream, and/or Integrify.

Educational Background:
- Professional financial qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, Bachelor’s degree) or equivalent.
- Demonstrable experience in a pharmaceutical/manufacturing environment.
