About The Role

The Finance Analyst role is part of the management accounts team and is required to support the organisation in preparation and reporting of financial information. Working closely with all Finance Managers, Finance Business Partners and all budget holders across the business.

Main Duties And Responsibilities

  • Support the Finance Manager and Business Partner with the production of monthly management accounts, quarterly management accounts and annual statutory accounts
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets
  • Prepare monthly journals and supporting analysis
  • Support monthly reporting activities including the analysis of departmental and project budgets, variance analysis and forecasting
  • Liaise with internal colleagues and teams to understand the needs of the business regarding key financial information and data reporting requirements
  • Help to improve the processes within Finance and across the business, and help to implement and support change
  • Support the Finance Manager and Business Partner as required

About You

You will:

  • Hold a qualification equivalent to a minimum of degree level in relevant business discipline or proven related experience
  • Have proven previous supporting the month end process and preparation management accounts and financial information
  • Have previous experience of accountancy packages and software
  • Have good communication and numerical skills
  • Be enthusiastic, confident, reliable, and highly motivated
