Your new company

A growing business with a strong market presence and an impressive portfolio of well-known customers is looking to strengthen its finance team with the appointment of a Finance Analyst.

This business is investing heavily in its commercial and financial reporting capabilities, creating an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional like you to develop your analytical skills while gaining broad exposure across the organisation.

Your new role

This is far more than a traditional finance role. Sitting at the intersection of finance, data and commercial decision-making, you'll play a key role in helping senior leaders understand business performance and identify opportunities for growth.

Working closely with the Head of Finance and stakeholders across multiple departments, you'll turn data into meaningful insights, challenge existing reporting processes and contribute to strategic planning initiatives.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Producing insightful management and performance reporting
  • Analysing financial and operational data to identify trends and opportunities
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting and business planning activities
  • Building and enhancing reporting tools, dashboards and analysis models
  • Partnering with stakeholders across operations and management teams
  • Assisting with cash flow monitoring and financial reporting processes
  • Driving reporting improvements and greater automation

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
