Job Description

The Group Financial Reporting team is responsible for producing the consolidated financial results of the Sky group and for the reporting of financials to our US parent company, Comcast. The team also advises on financial accounting matters and the control environment underpinning the production of financial results. We are currently involved in projects focused on standardising processes, automating reporting, cleansing ERP data and supporting accounting and reporting change management for key group initiatives.

You’ll support the production of Sky Group’s consolidated financial results and help drive standardisation across the territories and segments. Working with finance teams across the business, you’ll analyse financial processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and support automation where possible.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist with the production and analysis of the group monthly consolidated financial reporting.
  • Prepare and analyse monthly and quarterly submissions / disclosures for internal audiences and for our US parent company.
  • Communicate regularly with local finance teams to deal with any queries and ensure that results can be produced accurately and on time.
  • Manage the integrity of the group consolidation process through close liaison with finance teams across the group.
  • Ensure compliance with internal governance and controls, ensuring key controls are operating effectively.
  • Look for opportunities to standardise and improve reporting processes through systems and automation.
  • Provide group accounting support for major transactions and structural changes, including assessing consolidation, deconsolidation, reporting and disclosure impacts.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
