Job Title: Finance Analyst – Home Care

Business Function: Finance, Home Care BG

Location: 100VE, London

JOB PURPOSE

Home Care Business Group is a €12 billion business. The BG is on a strategic journey to drive a clean future by disrupting and transforming the cleaning industry from being highly chemical-dependent to greener and more sustainable cleaning, through innovation and premiumisation. In parallel, the Business Group priority is to step up profitability through net productivity (SC/BMI/Overheads), network transformation, concentration and premiumisation, together with selective portfolio rationalisation.

We are the emerging markets leader, with No. 1 or 2 positions in our top countries. We have three key categories: Fabric Cleaning, Fabric Enhancers, and Home and Hygiene. Home Care operates as an independent business within Unilever, with full end-to-end P&L responsibility, creating a great opportunity to define and drive performance management and impact business decisions.

The Global Home Care Finance team partners with our global cross-functional business teams and local finance teams to set and implement strategy, drive performance and ensure value generation across the almost 100 markets in which we operate. We are known as a high-performing, diverse and inclusive team: our members come from different backgrounds, represent 15+ nationalities and together speak more than 20 languages. We have a strong learning culture and high standards for our work. We work hard, learn well, have fun and look out for each other.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Based in London (100VE) and reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, the role of Finance Analyst is to help develop and drive the financial strategy, business performance and innovation performance of multiple Home Care areas. It offers an opportunity to work as part of a cross-functional team within the Home Care Division, which would cover the following areas:

  • Development and continuous improvement of an effective performance framework to track key KPIs with BUs and global business partners.
  • Monthly performance analysis for both actuals and forecast to extract insights, identify hot spots and drive corrective actions.
  • Support the monthly/quarterly reporting and planning cadence, including FC reviews and leadership meetings.
  • Preparation and/or analysis of business cases for strategic projects in the BG.
  • Support the long-term strategic planning and target-setting processes for BUs.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Recruitment Fraud

Cyber criminals advertise fake job adverts with prestigious employers as a way of stealing information or even defrauding individuals out of money. In the most sophisticated cases, they will set up fake websites, which have a similar address to companies like Unilever. They even conduct fake telephone interviews and then offer candidates a role with the proviso they pay a fee for background checks or to cover work visa costs. These types of attacks are becoming more common as more people are looking for employment in the economic climate.

How is Unilever tackling this?

Many of Unilever’s recruitment sites publish a warning to candidates about recruitment fraud. The Cyber Security team also proactively scan for signs of people setting up fake Unilever sites and act to close them down.

What can I do?

If you become aware of potential recruitment fraud, spot fake Unilever recruitment adverts or fake LinkedIn profiles, report them via Una Live Chat.

Unilever does not accept responsibility or liability for any candidates who are financially impacted by recruitment fraud. Your vigilance is key!
