About the Role
The Finance Analyst will join the FP&A Growth team to support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis related to member growth and engagement. This role partners with Brand & Communications, Product, Growth, and Data teams to provide actionable financial insights, develop reporting frameworks, and help drive strategic investment decisions through data-driven analysis.
Location: Leicester, United Kingdom (Hybrid)
Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Forecasting
- Support budgeting and forecasting for growth revenue.
- Prepare financial plans using operational performance data.
- Develop accurate and decision-ready financial forecasts.
- Assist with reforecasting activities as business needs evolve.
- Support long-term financial planning initiatives.
- Contribute to executive decision-making through financial analysis.
Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Own recurring performance reporting across growth revenue streams.
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Automate recurring financial reporting where appropriate.
- Prepare clear financial narratives explaining business performance.
- Perform variance and driver analysis.
- Present financial insights to support strategic decisions.

Growth & Member Analytics
- Develop metrics that measure the financial impact of member engagement.
- Analyze renewal rates and engagement trends.
- Evaluate revenue performance across multiple growth channels.
- Connect member behavior with financial outcomes.
- Support ROI analysis for growth investments.
- Recommend improvements based on financial and operational insights.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Brand & Communications, Product, Growth, and Data teams.
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across the business.
- Provide timely financial insight to support decision-making.
- Translate complex financial data into actionable recommendations.
- Align reporting definitions and documentation across teams.
- Support collaborative business planning initiatives.
Data Management & Continuous Improvement
- Improve data quality across financial reporting.
- Maintain consistent financial metrics and reporting standards.
- Document reporting assumptions and methodologies.
- Perform scenario and sensitivity analysis.
- Support continuous improvement of FP&A processes.
- Ensure financial outputs are accurate, reliable, and trusted.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in financial analysis.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience translating complex datasets into actionable business insights.
- Systems and business intelligence literacy.
- Familiarity with SQL.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling, Power Query, and macros.
- Strong attention to data quality, reconciliations, and documentation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with non-finance stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications
- Progress toward a professional accounting qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, or an equivalent certification.
- Experience in a direct-to-consumer (D2C) business environment.
- Experience in a marketplace business.
- Experience in an ecommerce environment.
