Finance Analyst

This Finance Analyst role offers the opportunity to join a dynamic Investment Management firm, where you'll be responsible for providing meaningful financial analysis, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and delivering high-quality reporting to inform key business decisions.

Our client is a well-established and highly regarded Investment Management firm with a track record of delivering strong results for institutional and retail clients.

Description

  • Prepare and analyse financial reports to support business decision-making.
  • Monitor financial performance and identify trends or variances.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with reporting standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and recommendations.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Contribute to process improvements within the finance function.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis as required.

Profile

A Successful Finance Analyst Should Have

  • 1-2 years' finance experience within an Investment Management, Asset Management, or Financial Services firm.
  • Progress towards an ACCA, CIMA, or ACA qualification (part-qualified preferred).
  • A strong background in accounting, financial reporting, and analysis.
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools.
  • An understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across the business.
  • A proactive and organised approach, with a genuine interest in the Investment Management industry.

Job Offer

  • Competitive salary of £45,000-£55,000, dependent on the level of experience.
