Nuneaton | Full-time | Permanent | Hybrid
You'll be based from our Nuneaton office, with a minimum of 2 days a week in the office and occasional travel to other Holland & Barrett locations.
Intro
You know how to do the reporting. You understand month-end. You're comfortable in Excel.
Now you want a role where you can get closer to the business.
As a Finance Analyst in our Commercial Finance team, you'll work with Finance Business Partners and commercial teams to understand what's really driving performance - not just report what happened.
Your initial focus is likely to include Supplier Funding, Supplier P&L and Range Reviews, so you'll get exposure to some genuinely commercial conversations from the start.
And because this sits within our wider Finance Analyst team, there's room for that exposure to broaden as you develop.
What You'll Be Doing
- Analyse performance against budget, forecast and prior year and get underneath the reasons why.
- Turn financial and trading data into useful insight for the people making decisions.
- Support weekly and monthly reporting and the month-end close.
- Get involved in budgeting, forecasting and scenario modelling.
- Produce analysis for commercial decisions, investment cases and wider business activity.
- Work closely with Finance Business Partners and non-Finance teams.
- Spot opportunities to make reporting and processes simpler and more effective.
What You'll Bring
You'll have experience in a Finance Analyst, Management Accountant or similar role, with a good grounding in accounting and month-end.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
Graduate Consultant — 2026 Scheme
Why you're a good match
StrongYour economics background and your summer at a regional bank line up with what PwC looks for on the consulting scheme. Applications close in four weeks.
See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
You'll be confident using Excel, including Pivot Tables, SUMIFS and lookups.
But the bit we're really interested in is what you do after you've built the spreadsheet.
Can you see what matters? Ask the right questions? Explain the story behind the numbers to someone outside Finance?
If so, you'll probably enjoy this role.
Retail or Commercial Finance experience would be useful, as would Power BI, SQL or working towards CIMA, ACCA or ACA. They're advantages rather than a checklist.
