Role: Finance Analyst
Location: Manchester
Hours: 8:45am-5:15pm
Package: £36k basic + £5k bonus + paid study support

PHMG, the world’s leading audio branding agency, is seeking a motivated Finance Analyst to join our dynamic finance department. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of our organisation by supporting financial planning, analysis, and decision-making processes across our departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct various types of financial analysis, including trend analysis and cost-benefit analysis, to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Prepare monthly commercial financial reports, assisting senior managers in making vital decisions through monthly variance analysis and performance review.
  • Create insightful board packs to clearly present business performance and key trends to stakeholders.
  • Assist in developing financial plans, forecasts, and budgets aligned with organisational goals.
  • Provide support to department heads in optimising resource allocation and driving profitability.
  • Provide support to ad hoc projects

What We Are Looking For:
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a financial analysis role, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders effectively. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with proficiency in Excel, are vital. Commercial acumen and a strategic mindset, focusing on a proactive approach to adding value to the business will ensure success.
