The Role
The Finance Analyst for our Operations and Race Team functions will be driven and detail-oriented, supporting insightful financial analysis, performance tracking and strategic decision making. Working closely with the teams responsible for designing, manufacturing and racing the car, you will deliver commercial insights that drive efficiency, value and competitive advantage - both on and off the track.
The role offers exposure to a broad range of commercial, analytical and business partnering activities within a fast-paced F1® environment, providing opportunities to develop and grow a successful career in Finance.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships, acting as an embedded finance partner to operational teams to understand strategic objectives, identify financial opportunities and risks, and collaboratively solve problems
- Enhance stakeholders’ financial acumen and provide financial insight to support effective operational and strategic decision making
- Build and maintain detailed financial models to support investment decisions, operational planning, scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis
- Partner with Operations and Race Team budget holders to prepare and review annual operating plans, budgets, rolling forecasts, upgrade appraisals and post-race reviews
- Translate financial trends and analysis into actionable insights, working with Financial Controlling to analyse revenue, costs and performance against budget
- Optimise spend within Financial Regulations and lead cost-cap optimisation initiatives, challenging the status quo to maximise value and drive competitive advantage
- Prepare and present monthly performance reports, variance analysis and financial KPIs, tracking key cost drivers including R&D, logistics, race travel, manufacturing and other operational costs
- Ensure data quality within finance systems and collaborate across Finance to improve reporting, processes and controls
- Drive continuous improvement through finance transformation, reporting enhancements and automation, while staying abreast of industry and finance developments to identify opportunities for improvement

What We Need from You
- Part-qualified or proven finance experience
- Strong analytical modelling skills and excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicator with the ability to challenge, influence, and support non-financial stakeholders
- Demonstrates initiative and curiosity, proactively seeking out opportunities, issues and insights without requiring detailed direction
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and project cost tracking
- Experience with, or an interest in, Power BI, Power Query or other data transformation and visualisation tools is desirable
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic setting
- Tenacious, reliable and flexible attitude to work
- Experience of manufacturing and engineering environment is desirable but not essential
