If you're a confident, commercially minded Management Accountant with strong labour/staffing cost analysis experience, this role will grab your attention.
We're supporting a respected operationally focused organisation where labour forms the biggest cost driver across c.600 staff, this position plays a crucial role in analysing, reporting and improving workforce-related financial performance.
The Role
- Join a collaborative, energetic finance team
- Take ownership of labour-focused management accounting
- Labour cost analysis across multiple divisions
- Identifying rate variances, seasonal fluctuations, and trends
- Producing monthly management accounts, journals, and reconciliations
- Preparing budgets, forecasts, and KPI reporting
- Supporting internal stakeholders with clear variance commentary
- Enhancing reporting using advanced Excel and Power Query
- Contributing to financial modelling, business cases, and ad-hoc costings

What You'll Need
- Proven experience analysing staffing/labour costs
- Advanced Excel capability:
- XLOOKUP
- INDEX & MATCH
- Power Query
- SUMIFS
- Strong management accounting background
- Ability to communicate confidently with non-finance stakeholders
- Qualified or nearing qualification (ACCA/CIMA)
