Finance and Accounts Manager
Location: London
Salary: around £50,000 per annum
Main Duties
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced finance professional to play a key role in the financial operations of a specialist auction business. You’ll oversee high-value transactions, client accounts, tax and compliance, while ensuring every financial detail is handled accurately and efficiently.

The Role
- Handle invoices and payments for art auctions
- Calculate payments to sellers and make sure they are correct
- Carry out AML and KYC checks for buyers and sellers
- Manage VAT, tax and Artist’s Resale Rights
- Deal with day-to-day bookkeeping, invoices and expenses
- Keep financial records accurate and work to tight deadlines

Candidate's Profile
- Strong experience in finance or accounting
- ACCA qualified
- Anti-Money Laundering Experience Is Essential
- Strong knowledge of Excel and accounting software
- Experience with VAT, tax and financial transactions
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, especially under tight deadlines
- Professional, discreet and confident when dealing with high-value clients
Salary
Around £50,000 per annum
